i have some dumb sdr2 headcanons ive been itching to talk about dont pay attention to me also they are all about komaeda and tsumiki

[spoilers under the cut!]

Okay, so Junko probably slowly found all of the SDR2 characters at their weakest points and recruited them to SHSL Despair from there, right? I’ve been considering the order that this might have happened in and I think I know who the first two at the very least are.

There are two characters that are almost always at a weak point that I can think of off of the top of my head: Tsumiki and Komaeda. Through what of their pre-Future Foundation selves we’ve seen, it seems that both were more of the dedicated followers of Junko- with Tsumiki’s apparent devotion and Komaeda being confirmed as one of the members of SHSL Despair that replaced one of his body parts with one of hers (his hand). With the two both holding themselves in very low esteem, I think Junko found it very easy to recruit both of them (Tsumiki probably would’ve just been so happy that someone was being nice to her, and Komaeda… well this is the guy who offered to commit murder to preserve “hope” and at that point he was probably [definitely] even more twisted than we’ve seen on the island). I’d like to say they were probably on the first line of her puppets along with Mukuro. (this also ties in with my dumb komamiki headcanons)

I have some silly komamiki despair headcanons oops. Okay once I had this idea so then I made a dumb comic about it and basically I think that Komaeda and Tsumiki would first meet and become friends at a point where one of them is very upset and the other offers consolation by complimenting them and attacking themselves and just going back and forth with that until they kinda start laughing??? and i think they’d have an adorable relationship and boost each others self esteem up. But at some point, be it teasing or otherwise, Tsumiki is back to her old self again and at this point Junko asks her to join SHSL Despair and it kinda??? brainwashes her a little??? and then she’d go off while essentially being puppeteered by Junko and convince Komaeda to join too, somehow, and totally against his will. They go on to become Junko’s strongest underlings. It’s like the crazy lovers mastermind AUs but better.

I kinda accidentally worked like 4 of these things into Dangan Skybound, specifically them being Junko’s strongest underlings, where Hinata and Nanami literally have to defeat them in a back-to-back boss battle in order for Naegi and Kirigiri to get to Junko and kill her its gr9
